Leveled Groups Model

Time on technology: ~90 minutes

Using existing student assessment data, ELA teachers level students into reading groups and use ThinkCERCA twice per month for two to three days per week, integrating ThinkCERCA lessons by topic into existing novel units and curriculum.

To reinforce literacy skill development in other subjects, teachers have students complete one lesson per month, providing student writing samples across content areas monthly.
